David McNair was in record breaking form yesterday as he took Craig Stewart’s 16 year old (Sep 2000) Under 15 800m club record with a 2:01.71 in the YDL meeting. This should place David top of the Scottish rankings this year and inside the top 10 of the UK rankings.

Jemma Reekie made a successful trip to Sheffield last weekend, to compete in the English Indoor Championships. Jemma from Beith and a member of Kilbarchan Athletic Club, won the under 20 women’s 1500m in 4 minutes 36.03 seconds and also reached the final of the 800metres, finishing 5th in 2.16.64. Read more
