KAAC Education Series

KAAC Training Centre – Wednesday 30 September / Saturday 3 October 2026

A successful day covering building confidence and goal setting with Jeffrey Webster, followed by a session with Scott MacAulay on sports injury prevention through strength and conditioning.

The day also included a training session and lunch, followed by a fantastic question-and-answer session with Olympic athlete Jemma Reekie.

Jemma provided an honest insight into the ups and downs of professional athletics, her journey through the last 18 years of athletics and her hopes for the future.

The event concluded with Callum Hawkins presenting, on behalf of the club, an honorary life membership to Jemma, along with a beautiful crystal plate.

Well done to Ewan McKerral, who broke the 2:30 barrier with a new personal best of 2:29:29.

A superb run from Jemma Reekie, who won the 5th Avenue Mile for a third time, setting a new course record with 4:13.9.

Gleniffer Gallop

Saturday 7 September 2026

Congratulations to everyone who competed in the first ever Gleniffer Gallop, a 5.4-mile out-and-back handicap race over a very wet and muddy Gleniffer Braes.

With around 700ft of climbing, the route mixed tarmac, trail and rough technical ground, providing a tough test from the opening 800m climb through to the fast descent home.
