Kilbarchan AAC would like to invite members, parents, former members and any other willing volunteers to take an active interest in contributing to the development of the club. Following the recent success of two of our members at the Rio 2016 Olympics we are experiencing a high influx of new members and we expect the demand to rise further.
This is an ideal chance for former members to give something back to the sport they got so much from in the past, for new volunteers to be engaged in a very rewarding role and an ideal opportunity for younger volunteers to gain experience and gain C.V. enhancing qualifications.
No formal training is required but is available on request.
If you would like to volunteer, please fill in the contact form by clicking here or email Robert Hawkins at RbHawkins4@gmail.com

In the lead up to the next October Junior athletics camp at the ON-X Renfrewshire Leisure are looking into the possibility of running a leading athletics course for volunteers and coaches.
Ideally, a course 2/3 weeks before the October holidays for all volunteers / coaches would work best.
The course has a max of 25 so it could be opened up to senior pupil volunteers, Kilbarchan volunteers / athletes and sessional staff.
If you fit into any of those categories and would be interested in taking part in the course please fill out your details below.
Scottish Athletics are hosting come and try starter sessions on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st August at the Age a group championships in Grangemouth. Full details on the poster.

Paisley 10k promotional video
Renfrewshire Leisure are looking for a bit of help on Saturday, if interested please fill out the form at the bottom of this page to let Elaine Green know.
We have been filming a promotional video over the past few weeks which is going to advertise the Paisley 10k and hopefully get more people into running. Our final scene will be filmed this Saturday at ON-X from 10:30am and we require some extras to be in our final shot. Do you think anyone form the Kilbarchan AAC would be interested in getting involved? Ideally we need between 20-30 people in total so I am trying to round them up this week.
In terms of details for Saturday, filming will begin at 10:30am and is expected to last roughly 30mins. We require people within the video to wear gym/running clothes.
