Neilston Pad Run

Enquiry from Ronnie Melrose:
I’m the Vice President of Neilston Agricultural Society, and as you may be aware, we have traditionally held a local cross country run “The Pad Run” as part of the Neilston Cattle Show on the first Saturday in May. Unfortunately last year we did not have a Pad Run, as we couldn’t find anyone from the Agricultural Society to take on the organisation. I’m keen to get this event re-instated as there were quite a few disappointed runners last year, and I wondered if anyone from Kilbarchan would be able to assist us in making this happen. We will have a number of volunteers to help on the day with marshalling, but we need someone with expertise in running who knows what we need to do, to make this a runner in 2018.

If you think this is something Kilbarchan can help with, please give me a call on 0751 357 7606, and we can discuss further.

George Cummings Relays, Volunteers & Catering

VOLUNTEER REQUEST

Can anyone not running the George Cummings Relays on Saturday 7th October  but are available to steward on the course please email johnrod1@btinternet.com or let John know at training. You can also add your name to the entry page as a volunteer.

We would require you to available at the Church Hall by between 1-2pm.

CATERING REQUEST

Once again I would like to ask for donations to the catering the club provides at the relay race.
We have a great reputation for the quality of our catering. So please look out your recipes, get your pinnie on
and get baking.

No sandwiches or filled rolls please, but all cakes, biscuits etc will be gratefully received.
Please bring it along to the hall on the day.

Volunteers Required

Kilbarchan AAC would like to invite members, parents, former members and any other willing volunteers to take an active interest in contributing to the development of the club. Following the recent success of two of our members at the Rio 2016 Olympics we are experiencing a high influx of new members and we expect the demand to rise further.
This is an ideal chance for former members to give something back to the sport they got so much from in the past, for new volunteers to be engaged in a very rewarding role and an ideal opportunity for younger volunteers to gain experience and gain C.V. enhancing qualifications.

No formal training is required but is available on request.

If you would like to volunteer, please fill in the contact form by clicking here or email Robert Hawkins at RbHawkins4@gmail.com
