A number of Kilbarchan athletes competed in the annual representative match at Loughborough at the weekend.

Martin Lipton beat his own Kilbarchan club record for the 400M Hurdles, time 51.33 seconds with Connor Henderson also having a fine run, time 52.47 seconds. Anthony Young ran a speedy 48.55 seconds for the 400m and Jemma Reekie, representing GB Juniors, ran close to her best for the 3000metres, time 9.30.82. (more…)

The West District Track and Field Championships were staged at Kilmarnock last weekend and Kilbarchan Athletic Club had a number of successes. Gemma Rankin represented Scotland at the Lillebaert ½ Marathon in Denmark last weekend, having a fine run to finish 5th, 1st Brit, time 79 minutes 25 seconds.
