Reekie double Gold at U20 EA Championships
Jemma Reekie travelled South again this weekend to head for the Bedford track at the U20 British Championships which also hosted as the European Athletics U20 trials.
Jemma enjoyed double gold in both the 1500m and 3000m events to cap a memorable weekend of tough track racing.
In the 1500m on Saturday it was a close finish but Jemma closed down Harriet Knowles-Jones to edge home first in 4:18.38.
She enjoyed a more favourable gap in the 3000m to break clear and win by almost five seconds in 9:37.22.
Congratulations to Jemma, coach Andy Young & family for a magnificent performance and season so far.
