West District XC League, Kilmarnock, Sat 18 Nov 2023

Report from Colin May

“On what can only be described as a dreich Ayrshire Saturday, the 2023 West Cross Country League got underway at the Scott Ellis Recreation Ground in Kilmarnock, kindly hosted by Kilmarnock Harriers.

The club’s representation was a good deal younger than normal – with several of our young Trackstars running for the first time competitively in the U11 age group and doing the club proud!

Our performance of the day must go to Emma Nicholson, who stormed home to take first place in the U13 girls’ race, leaving everything she had out on the course.  Well done, Emma!”
