It is with some sadness that one of our top runners of the 80s, 90s and 00s passed away this week after a few years struggling with cancer. Thomas “The Hitman” Hearle was seen running in Kilbarchan colours winning many a race and team event. He ran middle distance, track, road and cross country representing the club at district national and international level. He was a true competition and great training companion to many club athletes. We will all miss him.
