Gemma Rankin represented Scotland at the Lillebaert ½ Marathon in Denmark last weekend, having a fine run to finish 5th, 1st Brit, time 79 minutes 25 seconds.
Representing Scotland in the Men’s race, Derek Hawkins, continued his comeback from injury, finishing 4th, 2nd Scot, in 66 minutes 54 seconds.
Nearer home, the first meeting of the Scottish Men’s League took place at Aberdeen with Kilbarchan competing in Division one. Praise Olatoke won the 200 metres and also won the 100m B race. Alexander Watters was 2nd in the 400 metres Hurdles, Blair Crawford 2nd in the 400 metres and Cameron Wright 6th in the 1500 metres.
Earlier in the week, Conor Henderson competed in the British Universities Championships at Bedford, where he won the 400 metres Hurdles in a personal best of 52.52 seconds.
