Dunoon Toward Half Marathon Results, Sat 6 Aug 2016
A healthy bunch of Kilbarchan’s road runners descended on Dunoon for the Towards for a tenner Half Marathon.
The August sunshine was out in force as the boat docked and everyone registered at the Pier.
Strong headwinds made the first half difficult, with the wind disappearing on the way back to be replaced by warm sunshine.
In 12th place Robert McCulloch was first Kilbarchan runner home in 1:21:45. Next up Ryan Waldron was 24th in 1:28:35, closely followed by Grant Sandilands in 32nd in 1:31:07.
Jennifer Rooney was 6th female and 36th overall in 1:32:11, with Steven Hill 47th in 1:34:59.
Robin Scott finished 68th in 1:41:20 with Tracey Reddy concluding the Kilbarchan magnificent seven to finish 141st in 1:55:03.
