World Transplant Games Results

Well done to David Mushet on his performances at the World Transplant Games representing Great Britain.

A PB of 35.51.66 in the 5km Race Walk (Track) but unfortunately finished 6th. Later in the day I surpassed all expectations and threw 23.38m another PB in the Discus and fell just short of the medals finishing in 4th place.In the Golf I finished 6th in the Individual Event.

Overall a tremendous experience and although my original intention was to go once and retire gracefully, I’ve now got the bug and aim to gain selection again for the next games in Malaga 2017 qualifying will be at the 2016 British Games in Liverpool next summer.
