The event at the new Crownpoint track was a great success for the host club with nearly 600 athletes competing over two nights .This continues the surge in athletics post-Glasgow 2014 and of course the investment by Glasgow City Council in the venue. These meetings cannot go ahead without the help of officials and the club is especially grateful to Vic and Pat Hockley who set up the electronic timing system for the first time at Crownpoint.
