Great Scottish Junior Run Results, Sat 30 Sep 2017

All eyes were on Glasgow this weekend as athletes of all ages raced on the streets in the junior run, 10k & half marathon, Super Saturday kicked things off with the junior run, family mile & toddler dash.

Kilbarchan athlete David McNair kicked off the weekend in style as he dominated the junior run to romp home in 8:35 with club mate Gavin McKay picking up bronze in 9:09.

Oliver Patton was also 3rd in his age category in a time of 9:53.

The Scottish Track and Field Championships were concluded at Scotstoun at the weekend with a number of successes for Kilbarchan Athletic Club athletes. Scottish Age Group Championships Report

The Scottish Age groups Championships started at Scotstoun last weekend and there were some top performances by local athletes representing Kilbarchan Athletic Club.
