4J Studios scottishathletics Indoor SUPERteams, Emirates, Sun 26 Jan 2025
The boys were second in the 4x200m Pool 8 Kyle Hartley, Blair Wright, Harris MacKinnon, Gregor Gould; with good performances all round. The girls placed a very good 13th out of a 40 strong field. It was a great day’s competition and looked like great fun for all the athletes.

Congratulations on Michael McEwan on winning the club 10.5-mile handicap race on a very flooded course just holding off a battling Ryan Waldron who ran out of legs in the final hill to close the gap.

The Under 17 category was a really strong one with a lot of excellent athletes not even making the top 20. The strength in depth of the middle-distance running in the men’s events was telling and several athletes in the 800 metres, 1500 metres and 3000 metres featured. Leading the way was Kilbarchan’s JoshMungin, 7th in 2023, who improved his best by over 3 seconds at 800m, setting new Scottish record. He pushed clubmate Alistair Street (4th in last year’s U15 table) into 2nd.
