Zara Redmond continued her fine end of season form with a well fought win in the U15 girls’ event with a time of 14:08.  Luke Lindsay had a great run to finish 3rd 15:25, in the U17 men’s event.

The under 15 boys’ team of Joshua Mungin, Ian MacPherson, AJ Campbell, and Lewis Stevenson had good runs to finish 6th.

British Cross-Country Challenge, Loughborough, Sat 11 Mar23

A Scottish win in the U15 Girls race as Zara Redmond took gold for Scotland West. Zara’s performance led home the Scotland West Team effort as they landed silver medals, a good run from Cara McMinn with a time of 17:39.  Josh McKinlay and Alistair Street also represented their district in the under 15boys’s race; with the boys helping the team claim a fantastic first place!

Best of luck to Andrew Murphy, who announced his retirement from competitive athletics.  Andy has competed across the disciplines for the best part of 20 years and fairly racked up the medals.  Andy currently holds club records in 60m Hurdles, 110m Hurdles,4x100m, Shot, Long Jump, Pole Vault, Heptathlon and Decathlon.  Wishing Andy all the very best in his future endeavors!
