  • Connor Henderson was fourth in the men’s 400m hurdles in 54.78.
  • GB Junior Jack Patton was 12th in the 3000m with a time of 8:40:62 andplaced fifth in the Match element of that race.
  • Kirsty Costello was competing as a guest in the Women’s Hammer finishing in 5th place with a throw of 58.48m.

An outstanding run for Jack Patton finishing first and a PB in the 3000m with a time of 8:14:55.

  • Jemma Reekie and Laura Muirlived up to the label in a terrific 800m showdown.  Jemma took the win with a new outdoor PB and club record of 1:58.27 also Commonwealth Games qualification; as Laura closed in for second place with 1:58.46 for a superb Scottish 1-2 for the duo.
  • There was another Commonwealth Games standard to come as Steph Twell returned to track action in the Women’s 5000m.  Steph, selected for the Olympics in the marathon, clocked 15:36.07 to take seventh place.

Jemma Reekie was so close to making it a hat-trick of Scottish successes in Oregon but ultimately had to accept second in a Women’s 800m which became a burn-up over the last 200m; taking second place, by just one hundredth of a second beaten on the line to GB team-mate, Adelle Tracey, who clocked 2:03.25 to Jemma’s 2:03.26.
