Scottish U17/20 League – Sprints

I hope you are all well and staying save in these challenging times.

I am sure you will not be surprised to learn that following the ongoing advice of the UK and Scottish Governments, and the continued need to limit social distancing the Scottish U17/U20 league meeting scheduled for 21 June is now cancelled.  Scottishathletics are also recommending that all events in June are cancelled.

This I know is particularly disappointing as it means that all three meetings for this new competition have now been cancelled.  We cannot reschedule so we will need to look towards 2021 and fingers crossed we will be able to commence the competition then.

I can only keep positive that at some point in the near future we will get some T&F competition but with the outlook being that social distancing is looking like continuing through to the end of 2020 if not beyond I don’t know where that will take us.

Anyway, the good news is that the weather is good so please enjoy it and stay safe.  Please ensure that all clubs connected to your team are aware please.
