Kilbarchan Athletic Club boys were on top form in the Scottish Short Course Cross Country Championships at Kirkcaldy last weekend, winning both of the Boys team titles.

In the under 15 boys race. Jack Patton was first home for Kilbarchan, finishing 5thtime 6 minutes 24 seconds, well supported by Lewis Barclay 11th and Lewis Hannigan 13th and in the under 17 boys race, the team was led home by Andrew MacAngus 4thin 9.23 followed by Craig Kennedy 16th and David McNair 23rd.

In the Mens 4K race, Euan Gillham was first Kilbarchan runner, 7th time 12.18 and also notably, Donald Petrie won the over 60s age category, time 15.54.

Elspeth Curran was well placed in the Womens 4K race, finishing 18th in 14.37and Alisha was 7th in the under 15 girls race.
