A number of Kilbarchan athletes competed in the annual representative match at Loughborough at the weekend.

Martin Lipton beat his own Kilbarchan club record for the 400M Hurdles, time 51.33 seconds with Connor Henderson also having a fine run, time 52.47 seconds. Anthony Young ran a speedy 48.55 seconds for the 400m and Jemma Reekie, representing GB Juniors, ran close to her best for the 3000metres, time 9.30.82.

At the Young Development League meeting at Grangemouth, Kilbarchan Athletic Club had a number of successes.
Kirstie Costello won the under 15 girls Javelin and Hammer with throws of 34.38m and 53.13m and was also 3rd in the Shot. Louise Hastie won the 1500m in 5.01.78 while for the under 13 girls, Chloe won the 1200m in 4.00.89.
For the under 15 boys, Jack Patton won the 1500metres in 4.29.34, with Lewis Hannigan winning the B race.  Ciaran Parker won the under 13 boys 200m in 29.98s, also the 100m B race and Chloe Cameron won the under 13 girls 1200m in 4.00.89.

Other notable performances included from Siobhan Dornan  u15girls 100m 3rd, 200m 2nd; Rachel Muir u15 girls 800m 2nd, 300m 3rd;
