2016-17 Winter Championships FINAL standings

In dramatic fashion both the men’s and women’s championships turned on their head on the final spring day in Livingston.
Conor Thomson‘s short leg run saw him earn 12 points to finish as the Winter Champion with 94 points. Callum Hawkins finished 2nd with 90 points and Callum Matthews 3rd with 74 points.
The women’s championship was even closer, Jennifer Rooney also earned 12 points which meant she overhauled Elspeth Curran at the top by just 1 point to WIN the women’s championship. Jennifer finished on 101, Elspeth finished on 100 and Laura Stark made the final podium place with 70 points for 3rd.
Thanks to everyone who took part in as many races as they could. I hope to see even greater numbers next winter.
