Kilbarchan Athletic Club had a number of successes at the West District Cross Country Championships, near Ayr on Sunday.
Laura Stark won the under 20 girls race in 19.36 with Sarah Dempsey 3rd in 19.49 and together with Chloe Simpson 4th, won team Gold.
Andrew MacAngus won the under 17 boys race, time 23.46 and with Craig Kennedy 4th and Josh Hendry 10th, it was another team Gold for Kilbarchan.
There was also team Gold for the under 15 boys with David McNair running strongly for 2nd in 14.29, well supported by Jack Patton and Eoighan Small .
The under 20s men’s team just missed Gold, led by Scott McLardie 5th, supported by Ewan McKerral and Conor Thomson.
There were also Bronze team medals for the under 15 girls, Alisha Sivell having a fine run for 3rd place supported by Leona Murray and Libby Sutherland for the under 13 girls team of Rachel Muir, Louise Hastie and Chloe Cameron, it was another team Bronze.
For the Seniors, Elspeth Curran continued her improving form , finishing 6th, while for the men, Callum Matthews was best place in 24th place, just ahead of veteran Robert Quinn, who won the over 50s award.
