Crownpoint was the venue for Friday night BMC racing over 800m and 3000m with a lit of fine performances.
There was five 3000m races on the night, Andrew MacAngus ran 9:42.93 in the Mixed B race finishing 18th, Craig Kennedy posted a similar time of 9:42.28 for a new PB and 8th place in the C race.
Laura Stark was 2nd (taking a silver medal) as she transferred from the hills to track in PB style, 9:47.75 saw her finish just ahead of Kirstin Oakley of Ayr Seaforth.
Chloe Simpson was also in PB form, taking 6th place in the Mixed E race in a time of 10:42.67.
Over the 2 laps of the 800m there were some more PB’s for the youngsters. Jack Patton clocked 2:10.61 just bettering his time from Livingston OGM the previous week.
Jemma Reekie finished 2nd in the women’s race in another PB of 2:07.23, Kerry MacAngus ran 2:25.48 for 9th place in the mixed G race.
Eilidh Gibson was 5th in the Mixed H race, running 2:19.34.
Lewis Hannigan was a clear winner of the I race, an almost 10 seconds PB of 2:16.66.
