Hawkins dominate in London

Callum Hawkins ruled the roads in London to book an automatic place at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Running a well paced race he took the front passing the early British lead runner Twelde of Shettleston Harriers as Scots dominated the British race. Finishing 8th in 2:10:52 ahead of World Record Holder Dennis Kimetto.

Derek Hawkins ran a big PB as well to finish 3rd Brit in 2:12:57 and should know within the next 24 hours whether he is joining Callum on the plane to Rio.

Huge congrats from the Kilbarchan family to all the Hawkins family on a proud day for everyone involved with the magnificent achievements of the boys.
