Grant Sandilands, Norman Groves and Julia Wylie also putting in good performances while Robin Scott won the over 70s category in an impressive 70 minutes 54 seconds.
There were also parkruns taking place all over the country, involving many local runners, most notable being Callum Matthews who won the 5K race at Pollok Park, in 16.15 and Ruth Harrison also ran at Pollok before turning out the next day for the Grangemouth event. Norman Groves was another glutton for punishment, running in the Victoria Park run on Saturday and the Tom Scott race on Sunday ..
