Renfrewshire COV Awards 2013 update

Another award for one of Kilbarchan’s finest as Renfrewshire Council announce that Robert Hawkins has won the category “Performance Coach of the Year”.

Congratulations to Robert on winning this award, and thanks to John Rodger for the nomination.

Renfrewshire Council and sportscotland are working on recognising nominators, nominees and winners of the respective categories in the following ways:

All nominees, short-listed nominees and winners of the local awards to receive a recognition letter/certificate
All nominators to receive a letter thanking them for nominating
All winners to be presented with a £100 cheque. Funding to go towards a recognised CPD opportunity through their SGB or other recognised body (coach scholarship), or can spend the money on the development of their club/players/athletes i.e. buying equipment or attending and competing in a competition
All winners to be presented with a sportscotland sponsored memento i.e. glass trophy
All nominees, short-listed nominees and winners to be recognised via a local press release
All local winners to be recognised on Renfrewshire Council and sportscotland websites
All local winners automatically nominated for the sportscotland National Coaching Awards taking place in October – outcome TBC
