Final league match at Meadowbank was a patchy affair for Kilbarchan. Solid in the sprints, particularly 400m, absent in the jumps. 7th on the day and dropped from 2nd to 5th in final standings which is a big disappointment. Breaking it down:
Sprints: 93 points out of possible 172
Distance: 28 points out of possible 112
Throws: 54 points out of possible 128
Jumps: 4 points out of possible 112
Well done those who competed, great job, but if we keep as many gaps at distance and jumps we’ll be relegation fodder next year. Needs some new blood to fill some gaps!! Also much praise to the young guys competing for the first time and they are only going to get better.
